WHAT IS A TEXTING PARTY?

Texting parties are a great way to make an impact alongside a personal group of supporters. It’s a fantastic way to make a collective impact with a local activist group, or just a group of your friends, family, or acquaintances

Texting with a group is a fun, easy way to multiply the impact you can make in a short time! Activism is always better with friends.

Your Team Wants to Reach the Young, Black, and Latinx Voters Who Will Decide the Future of America.

While Walk-a-thons, Runs, voter registration drives, and other In-Person events are on hold,  Turnout Troop can empower your staff to quickly activate and do the most good - safely - in 2022.  We need your help to make sure every voter is heard and counted!

How Does It Work?

Turnout Troop volunteer management is organized through Slack and can connect directly and privately to your organization’s Slack. Use a different platform? Turnout Troop are here to support you using whatever communication your organization uses.

Texting is done inside the Turnout Troop (c)(3) Workspace in TextOut, and is strictly non-partisan voter education work. Open Progress’ staff and volunteer leaders will assist your organization from start to finish, so everyone participating has a great experience.
